Small Village...Big Arts

The Village of Stockholm may be small, quaint and charming beyond words... but there is so much more hidden behind that small village exterior. Escape down the winding Great River Road to the village tucked along the shores of the mighty Mississippi. Peek in and become part of one of the most vibrant and growing cultural scenes around.

There is nothing small about the experience you will have in Stockholm Wisconsin.

Come see how big Stockholm really is...

May 7 & 8 Raise a Toast to Spring

Unlikely pairings--if that isn't the essence of the Stockholm experience, what is? This weekend, why not add Brazilian jazz, hard apple cider and Stockholm, Wisconsin?

What a sweet way to celebrate the return of spring then a drink of pure Wisconsin flavor? Everything from the honey to the fruit is grown right here.

The Maiden Rock Cidery and Winery open house is this weekend on May 7 and 8, from 11 AM to 6 PM.

A gorgeous drive along the river, or just a ride up the street for our neighbors in Pepin, Maiden Rock, Bay City or Red Wing, Maiden Rock Cidery and Winery is a wonderful destination for a day of music, food and best of all, glasses of silver medal award-winning Honeycrisp Hard™ Cider and Dolgo Crabapple Wine. The names alone just sparkle and splash, don't they?

Can't wait to get your hands on some? Want to send a case of local flavor to a friend? You can buy online and they'll ship it (sorry, you have to live in AK, CA, DC, FL, IL, IA, MN, MO, NM, OH, OR, WI, or WV).

Did you know:
  • The Maiden Rock Cidery and Winery is the only hard cider brewery in Wisconsin?
  • TripAdvisor already has a bunch of rave reviews for Maiden Rock Winery
  • Swedish law says that "cider" must contain at least 15% juice. If the drink has less it is known as Äpple-/Pärondryck med Ciderkaraktär. (It's true.)

Don't forget, you can always get Maiden Rock Cider and Wine at Stockholm General.
