We have lots going on this weekend, so much so that we are feeling like we are at the center of the universe. This afternoon Arlene Rolf is presenting her artist talk at 2:30. Arlene has made the ancient art of batik her own. Her pieces feature colorful dyes and wax on cloth and paper. The hues and patterns in her work are amazing! Stay in town for Hardcover Theater’s traveling Oscar Wilde show, Style Not Sincerity, this evening at 7:00 at the Widespot. Four actors will play multiple roles in three adaptations of Oscar Wilde’s best short stories:
"Lord Arthur Savile's Crime," a comic tale of murder,
"The Devoted Friend," a tongue-in-cheek fairy tale,
"The Canterville Ghost," probably the funniest ghost story ever written.
For a little over an hour, laugh to the Wildean witticisms.
